In Williamsburg, heard Sinead
Was eating lunch in a Williamsburg sandwich shop called Pops and heard Sinead O'Connor's "Mandinka" playing. Took me back 20 years, to the summer I lived in mom and dad's tiny apt at the Alexandria. Editing there, that brief fling with Melissa that I had to end after one real night the next morning. Getting an "arancini" rice ball across the street after getting caught in the rain...

Greedy books of the past
